In his uniquely approachable way, Eric Toensmeier will share vast personal insights and expertise related to perennial crop production. And in response to the climate crisis, he will also discuss agricultural practices highlighted in his new book - The Carbon Farming Solution - referred to as the linchpin of a global climate solutions platform. Farm tours led by ECHO (Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization) staff will be provided in addition to a lunch option. Additionally, ECHO's retail plant nursery and bookstore. will be open for business.
Participants may begin arriving at 8:30am. Parking locations will be indicated on the day of the event. ECHO's Retail Nursery will be open from 9am-4pm. Participants are encouraged to make purchases between 2:30-4pm. Gates close promptly at 4pm.
