In honor of Eat Local Week, Geraldson Community Farm will be hosting its first-ever Fall Harvest Fest with local food, music, crafts, raffle, and farm fun! Bring the kids to enjoy Fall-themed games and activities including a hay ride, face painting, costume contest, and a farm scavenger hunt.
Music will be provided by Mountain Holler, Scone Train, and the Buffalo Wizards. Vendors will include Sunshine Canning, O'Berry's Succulents, Sarafresh Juice, Lather and Love Bath and Body Creations, BonniBakes, Kidding Around Yoga, Barb McSweeney Jewelry, Chuck N Fin Adventures in Baby Food, Poppyhollow, Amanda's Sweet Escape, Jenny's Hoops and Cork, Dave's Honey, Cassie's Cookies, and Sereniteas and Soothers.
From 3-4pm, experts from the Manatee Rare Fruit Council will be leading free tours of their Rare Fruit Tree Collection located at Palma Sola Botanical Park next door, and starting at 5pm, there will be a "Conscious Movement Barn Dance."
