Food Day 2014: A Focus on Food Access

Healthy Sarasota County's Food Day 2014 event is a collaborative effort to engage the Community Health Improvement Partnership's (CHIP) Community Health Action Teams (CHATs), as they work to improve their local food systems and improve access to healthy foods. 

The overall goal of this event is to increase awareness of the various local initiatives recognizing the importance of healthy, affordable, and accessible food. CHATs will have the opportunity to highlight their successes and barriers to improving access to healthy and affordable foods.
