During Sarasota County's 10th Annual Sustainable Communitites Workshop on December 3, 2015, groups formed and committed to sustainability action plans focusing on the following topics:

  • Food
  • Health & Social Equity
  • The Natural Environment
  • Water
  • Energy
  • The Built Environment
  • Sustainable Economic Development

Continuing this process, a new series of Sustainable Sarasota Community Partnership Meetings will serve as opportunities for each of these groups to discuss their progress and next steps.

Even if you were not able to attend last year's Sustainable Communities Workshop, you are encouraged to attend. Come learn about what is being done in your community and how you can get involved!

Held in the second floor Conference Room A/B from 3:30 to 5:00pm, there will be time at the end of each meeting for attendees to network and share their latest sustainability news in a roundtable format.
